Easy set up, good sound, good value. I have only had this for a couple of months, but it's worked out really well.
This is for you all. OK the speaker sounds good, the build is good, but after that it gets a F-. Truth B said. I don't take the time to review anything but when you suck you suck. Any question.
So I ended up using a headset, which defeats the purpose of spending the money on this phone in the first place. This Polycom is not the same quality as those in corporate conference rooms (of course those units cost a LOT more). The phone itself is fine, but you get this for the speakerphone. However, when I got it, everyone says my voice is too faint (even though I am next to the mic).
Visibility of the LCD display I believe can be improved with an inexpensive phone stand/organizer from any of the office supply online retailers. I would have given it 5 stars if it offered a data port and didn't have minor visibility issues when resting on a flat work surface. Speakerphone performance is far superior to any other phone.
In short, I needed a phone that provided peak performance since most of my time is spent on the phone. Finally I decided to spend a lot more money and give the Polycom Soundpoint Pro SE-220 a try. This was my 3rd attempt at a new 2-line phone for a home based business offering professional financial services.
This phone should be your first and only choice. This phone meets and exceeds the needs of any small business. I originally tried the Uniden TRU9466 cordless but speakerphone and headset performance was less than adequate.
Next, I tried the AT&T 993 Corded 2-Line Speakerphone and found this model's speakerphone and headset performance to be even worse than the previous Uniden cordless.
I would recommend this phone. The volume is much better, there are more options with controls, and it is simple to operate. I am part of an advocacy group that has at least one conference call every month. In the past I used a speaker phone that I got from a local outlet for phones. This new phone is far superior.
